Round Barn Center      The round barn was built in the late 1870's or early 1880's, the date is not certain. The barn remains much as it was in Pete French's day with some minor repairs to the outside and roof. Crane Hot Springs      Crane Hot Springs is located in the High Desert area of southeast Oregon. Sheldon and Hart Mountain Refuges     The Sheldon and Hart Mountain Refuges are remote and expansive jewels of high-desert habitat, set aside in the 1930s for the conservation of pronghorn antelope. Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge     If you like isolation, you will like Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge. It is especially liked by pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, mule deer, and sage grouse, four major wildlife inhabitants of this sprawling refuge. The Dust Devil Mining       During the Fall of 1991, rock hounds and lapidarys Terry and Jude Clark and Don and Patsy Buford decided to look into filing gemstone claims in Oregon.
